Thailand art architecture and decorative objects need to be considered with regard to the influences of religion, mythological beliefs and regional artistic styles. Some months back I had a charming e-mail , from a gentleman who told me that he loved the pieces on our website & wanted to place some on board his Junk!

WOW, what a thrill that was! I was duly invited over to Phuket, to join the launch party of the Junk, & that was just the start of a serious love affair- me & The Siam Junk

Will Patching the investor, & his partner John had spent years finding what they considered to be the most beautiful Junk in Asia. In need of a little TLC, they pulled her apart & re-built her with care, love & an amazing attention to detail.

Fittings becoming of such a glorious boat, now include some of our hand-crafted, Chiang Mai artisan wall carvings, & Buddha decor, from Thai Artisan's range. They are perfectly matched to the junk's rustic Asian chic style

The next stage of the love affair was a trip on the Junk! 5 days at sea, taking part in a promotional video that Will & John wanted to create. The experience was one of the best of my life.

Time passes, I miss the Junk, but life goes on...then today... the youtube link to the finished video arrived. I have tears in my eyes & goosebumps just from watching the footage!

It bought back all of the memories, sparkling aqua seas, photogenic sunrises & sunsets, the freshest seafood caught & cooked, literally melting in the mouth.Thailand's marine parks, clean & undeveloped, snorkelling with thousands of colourful cartoon fish. Sea turtles, that feed from your hand & whale sharks!
